Born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico he fell in love with Colorado and later settled in Aspen. Denver's songs that he sang about his state brought many people to Colorado. I can't think of anyone else who represents Colorado as well as John Denver said G. Brown curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. In 2011 Denver was named the first Hall of Fame inductee. To many, Denver is the symbol of Colorado. When I travel, you will meet people on opposite sides of the planet. For example an individual who is from New Zealand.
