Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. The father of her Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide when Bea was just three years old. She wasn't told about the cause of his death until she reached the age of thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea was in tribute to her father. She wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey with suicide. Bea was fostered by her sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer as well as a former professional racer. They were obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. Bea began her career as a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
